mine are completely stock numbers over a year ago, havent been back to hitech with it, just been fixing and improving. he he but good power with stock turbo. i seen one at car craft with running 20+ blow a head gasket and only made 310hp.Junkyard 5.3

i love the vid ware 2 neons broke at the light tree lol
wish i could find it.
i think srt-4s were made to go fast in a cheap way and weren't made to be fixed up unless u want to put a lot of money on to the motor.
remember they were made cheap to make it affordable but not to handle more much more power.
just what i think about srt-4 neons

Everything about the SRT-4 was beefed up, trans, clutch, block, head, valves.
The trans was out of the V6 stratus coupe, a quaife LSD was installed, a beafy clutch, equal length axles, big hubs and rotors.
The block was reinforced (SRT and PT GT block) has extra ribs in it for strength, the exhaust valves are inconel. The head is the best flowing 4cyl head dodge/chysler has ever made in a production vehicle. Forged internals with oil squirters, etc etc, the list goes on.
Everything about that car is designed to handle the abuse and upgrades.
No matter what the SRT team(or SVT or whoever) puts into a vehicle, when retards start "tuning" or tuners push things over the limit (500hp on stock internals) things break.Last edited by ACRucrazy; 02-22-2007, 12:45 PM.You have been banned for the following reason:
