they were clearly off a commercial jet. 747 on the rears, looked to be something smaller on the front.

Although this is a rocket car (not a jet) and has been around for roughly 30 years (it was recently restored) the design was capable of running 412mph in 1977!!!!!



The guy who owns this car has set MANY world records in drag racing, land speed racing and was also the first civilian to launch a rocket into outer space WITHOUT government funding and he lives RIGHT HERE IN MINNESOTA!!!! (Bloomington to be exact)
