Guns and Ammo

I was shooting with my brother and father in-law the other day and some guy frmo Guns and Ammo was there with a digital video camera. Said he was going to put us on the website or in the magazine.

so look for me or my brother..

I was shooting this.. H&K SL-8, they are a German made gun not being imported to the US anymore =(


and my brother was shooting this.. he bought it brand new, shoots .45 auto mags, straight clip holds 30 rounds, drum holds 50.. the thing has no kick and is accurate as all get out but its a friggin tank (heavy)


my bro has too much invested in his weaponry I tell ya..

How much was it? Looks like a beretta storm. I shot one of those, and it was accurate as hell!

the H&K shoots a .223, we where shooting balistic tip, and yes it is accurate as hell.. my bro has a hella nice scope on it.. the damn thing has a leveler in it, and collapsable pod legs on the front. that thing is soo easy to operate aswell I love it..

If your lucky enough to find one now days they are running about 2200-2500 bux for the ones i've seen still new. used i'm sure you can get for less but not much. He bought his last year new with the scope, legs and 3 mags for 1700, the Thompson was 1500 new, i'm sure the damn hard case he has for it was a pretty penny also, he also has the violin case like the old mobsters used to have lol its funny lookin

I was thinking it was a carbine in handgun caliber. 223 would be awesome!

How did your brother buy a new Thompson automatic machine gun? Or am I reading that wrong? I know that it is possible to own one, but they make you jump through hoops and they make it a huge PITA to own one.

its not full auto.

They still manufacture the gun as a semi auto. If you have a good trigger finger, it'll fire plenty fast and be accurate. A gun that heavy shooting pistol rounds has no kick at all.

It's funny though when your shooting that in the range next to a guy shooting his .22 pistol and he's getting hit in the head by discharged casings from a .45 LOL!

we buy in bulk on the intraweb =D

buy in cases of 1k in cheap casings since we just using for shooting..
we keep the good shells for defense at the house =P

I think the 5th shot in WI deer opener was one of those.
