This is a pretty good fight actually. Matt Hughes looked lost in the ring with all the different things GSP was throwing at him.

I guess he's not the unstoppable force everyone thought he was.

Even though he got knocked out in the 2nd round, I don't think those TWO shots to the junk helped at all in the first round. If you take even one decent shot down there it can weaken you physically or mentally, ruin your entire fight.

I agree , these guys know the rules and what they can do before getting DQed. Those two shots looked like stratagy that worked. He knew if Hughes got close and got ahold of him he would loose so he had to do a "BRUSH BACK" if you will , get in Hughes head. IT WORKED!
