    Adding to the corral!

    My folks' new Pony:

    1966 Mustang, 289cid.. CA car!

I'd like to welcome her to the corral. She'd been in storage for many years so we are looking forward to doing some suspension/steering work but in general a wonderful car!

Wimbledon. Just like your car Grayle! We'll have to get them together some time for some photos.

            Patrick-

That's a sharp looking '66! It looks really clean in the pictures! Is it a manual shift, or an automatic?
It's also nice to see that your hood looks intact now! I'm guessing that shot was taken at Monticello Auto Body?

            Talk to you later,

              Rick,

It is a slushbox in the '66.

Oh, and that hood is a new Harwood piece, set up for lift-off duty. It should look pretty neat with paint. I also went with a Harwood smooth cowl cover, which will also have quick-release fasteners so I can get to my distributor .

The car is at Monticello Auto Body, and will probably be there for another week or so. I may get the itch and drive it home when it is finally done. Trailering a car for 3 miles is a pain.

Now just don't let those pesky Wright County police officers see you driving it home.

WOW That color looks soooo much brighter then mine. (I need a paint job) I was thinking of getting mine painted oxford white, like the new Ford Trucks(Very Bright White). I'll have to see the '66 in the daylight!! As for pictures, I drive it around the Midway sometimes, let me know when you are going to be there!!

What about the guages sticking out of there? Relocating them?

haha I just saw "catch me if you can" Friday night. Walken to the max.

As far as those fuel pressure gauges are concerned, they are there. The cowl cover will most likely be notched so the gauges can use their existing mount points. I like where they are and they work well.
