To put that dash in, what you do is bend the top mounting points at the base of the windshield downward at an angle. Other than that, the mounting points are pretty much the same. To fit the console, all i really needed to do was shim the rear mounting bracket since the tunnel is lower.

The horn button is the regular Mustang one for that steering wheel with a Merc emblem I hunted down that was big enough to cover the recessed area for the Ford emblem.

It drives okay. I love having the manual in there, that's for sure. It still won't idle and there are clunks all over the place in the front suspension. I've got all the parts, I just wanted to wait to start that project until after the Apple Valley show.

I may still get collector plates for it. I'm still sort of holding on to the idea I can drive it a lot (haha) once I finish the few things I have left to do.

LOL. That car is weird but cool. If you took the car from the front of the doors and back, and hid what the front of the car looked like, I'd swear that was a notchback. So weird to see that car with a Mustang dash and trans.
