I would love to build a boss nine with his heads. Old man? I had not seen the small block canted valve heads.

I'm guessing there are a few heads that can do that if you can spin 7500

The P38 heads have been around for a few years. They are wicked heads and like most of Kaase's special heads are hard to get a hold of.
          Don't ask, it's a midlife crises thing.

I'm really not all that surprised, but am curious about torque. I bet its less than 400 pounds

If you want some big small block heads, check these out they are the baddest inline SBF heads you can buy (lifted from Travis' Facebook):

              Travis Knowlton

Ok initial r and d on the small block ford GV2 head is complete and digitizing is underway shortly. We currently have an intake port that flows 366 @ .500 and 446 peak on the intake, and 250 @ .500 and 303 peak on the exhaust we will know our final csa profiles when the port is digitized.

Travis Knowlton is on Facebook. Join Facebook to connect with Travis Knowlton and others you may know. Facebook gives people the power to share and makes the world more open and connected.

You will need a big bore 4.125+ for the 2.200/1.600 valves

You run out of cylinder bore with the 2.20 intake, don't think larger exhaust will fit.

Have you been tempted to build a Boss 9 with his heads? It is one engine that has its own look. I saw a modified one at Minnesota drag ways in 1971. He out ran a 427 Vette. I should have bought one then when I could afford one. I ran into an average guy that owned one for years. He said the car was not fun any more because it was worth so much he was afraid to drive it. Sad but true.

Oh ya, they just came out this past year and are hard to get yet. I've had several opportunities to pick up some original Boss 9 top ends, they are too rare to play with, and an original Boss 9 car is a garage piece at best.

I'm very tempted to build a Boss motor and probably do one next year. I have too many projects now and have vowed not to start another until I get at least 1/2 of them done. The next big blocks will be a 600 ci A headed motor for the 2001 and a 454 ci Tunnel Port FE as I have everything for them already.

Want to buy a built dynoed 521 ci pump gas or 600 ci A head motor? It would move up the Boss plans.

Spree B won't let you buy anything with push rods anyway.

I would take the vert as partial trade for the 521.
