Look at me: Home improvement edition

Took a stab at a new backsplash. This is my first time laying tile/stone. Just finished around 10pm tonight (stove clock is wrong). Started it on Monday, also I need to get longer screws to properly hang the outlets now. The phone pictures are not the best but the sealer really brought the color out of the stone. Couple before and after shots.

Uhhhh yes your right. My house still has a partially unfinished basement and I already am thinking about what tile to use in the unbuilt bathroom. I originally was going to just buy a tub surround with shower. Now that this turned out nice and I have it in my head I am a tile master (which I am not) I think I am going to tile a shower/tub in.

Looks much better! I've got the itty bitty stone tile for a kitchen back splash and the larger 12" x 12" tile for the master bathroom floor as well as tub surround and shower walls. Looks much better than without.
