These lifts make changing transmissions very difficult IMHO, I do not like them. Not to mention I am always afraid this will happen or the ram will fail. I would prefer a ramp or two post myself.

However, this style lift makes suspension, tires and brakes a breeze, you will never catch me walking under one though.

Actually if you look very closely you can see a block of wood fall from the back looks to come from the point where the frame curves up, I have seen people use blocks of wood in these areas before on these old lifts because the pads dont come up high enough on these newer trucks.
At least thats what it looks like to me.
