Actually, life is great. The metal business is booming, the people are good, crime is almost non-existent, lots of stuff to do (snowmobiling, hiking, hunting, fishing, farming), land is cheap and you are pretty much left alone. Polar opposites from the cities, greater Minnesota is the place to be.
