I agree that is a very nice example of that particular car. Question is- is there somebody looking for that exact car and ready to spend 12g's for it? I don't know the answer to that. I'd be curious to see what these clean foxes are actually selling for.

I'd like to look at it for the sake of nostalgia because it's cool.

Someday you guys will realize that cars like these when they get old mint low mile examples like this are worth very good money, that car would bring atleast $10k at auction no problem. Remember this is a mint low mile bone stock car not some cobbled together shitbox with 40k on the 4th dash its had in its life.

values of cars seem to swing with what generation holds the money, right now late 60's cars are hot because everyone who is 50-60 remembers them and they are paying good money for clean examples.

in 20 years clean fox bodies will be worth big bucks, Im pretty sure in my life time i will see a 93 cobra R go for half a million dollars or more. If you look at completed auctions on ebay low mile (not 42k) like 10k and below go for great money.

Im not an expert but an auto car with 42K is probably worth 8k to the right guy. You can pick up a 93 cobra with near those miles for around what he is asking for. The cobra is obviously a much better investment

Cars are not good investments. Unless you're able to flip them quickly.

Nice example of a untouched, clean coupe. The auto transmission and blue interior aren't the most desirable features though, for the asking price of 12,500 *firm* you'd think it would have a manual transmission with black interior. But whatever, he can ask for that price all day long but that doesn't mean it will sell for that.

I didn't think the market is that good for basic option car. I would assume prospective buyers are looking for Svt,svo, SSP,saleen.

Of course the Cobra's and alike bring real good money if nice and good miles but they are to the point that all are worth good money even basic no option cars if clean and good miles.

I like it. I don't see why it's not worth 12k. Look at a what a later model car with only 42,000 miles on it goes for. Really not that bad of a price in my opinion.

I don't think the no-options thing hurts it, that could even be more desirable. look at some of the old muscle cars that were ordered bare besides the track pack or whatever, big money.
but the AOD kills that car. nothing good about a ford AOD. junk.
