With a lowering kit the thing would look pretty sharp.

              1. 83 is the first year of the fox convert.
              2. it is the lowest production number of verts than any other fox year (somewhere around 3,000 or so made and many less in existence today)
              3. add the rarity of the car's options (blue interior 5.0/ T5) to 35,xxx original miles and it is worth what he is asking.. pending the dual exhaust was done right by moving the rear brake line for the tail pipe..

                4. All that being said, it's still a 1983 Mustang.

Old man had this exact car with same color combo ect but 50k miles 7 years ago, buy far the worst color combo ive ever seen. Pretty sure that car ruined fox body mustangs for the world and yes the combo looks worse in person. Thats just what i think. We actually switched the interior out for red interior and black paint still an ugly car.

I guess you better run out and buy this "rare" grand national while you're at it too.
because 1. its the first year for the GN
                        2. they only made 215
                        3. it comes with a 75hp carbed 3.8

It's not worth it for anyone that can afford it, because people don't get money by making dumbass decisions such as buying 10g 83 mustangs. Quiet the conundrum.

Ps nobody cares about the rarity of 83 convertibles. Also nobody (but you) is going to base a car's value off of the placement of $4 brake line. Fuck.
