The montboo is on the road

Dean and I were able to take the Montboo down the street on Sunday what a great feeling to have after all the long hrs and money to get to be able to feel the power of a big block in the seat of the pants.

Dean thinks that the carb need a little more adjustment and all should be good. It was very lean cruzin but when I gave it some gas it got better. Then when it made postive boost it was like I hit the button on the bottle.

So for now I am happy but I still need to get a 100 amp altanator any one got one for sale??? I hope to take the car to the track on the 28th for a test n tune at grove creek just to make sure all is good before I go for the 1/4mile runs.

          Scott,

Have you thought about getting it on a dyno rather than just Test/Tuning?

With what you probably have into it... Dyno with AFR readout could save you alot of trouble...

I thought about it but dean has a LM-2 sniffer on the car so we can see what the air / fuel ratio is.

Never will lose a motor with one of those. That's like having a warranty.

Wouldn't "Iceman" mean that you would not be nervous during a heads up race? Hmm, I might have to evaluate said skills in a few weeks.

But you can do 1/8 mile long burnouts at home for free! I have not seen or heard good things since they resurfaced.

I was there last year had no problem with traction. I was getting 1.4 60ft on the motor. And it went a 1.28 60ft on the bottle so I think the traction is good
