I am so tired of people posting in for sale ads on here, and craigslist and other places " make offer" So I have spent the last hour sending emails and calling people with some stupid low ball offers. I think it is kind of funny at some of the reactions of people. I called a guy with a F350 Super Duty and offered him 500.00 and he laughed, I said then at least post a fucking asking price or don't get all pissy when someone gives you a low ball offer. I called him again from my girl friends phone and made a offer of 28,000 and then he said sure when do you want to meet and I said sorry changed my mind and hung up. Morel of the story people get all butt hurt when someone offers a low ball price, well dumb ass learn to expect it when you post " make offer".

Ok I feel better now and will feel even better after I drink a few beers, kick the dog, throw the girl friend down the stairs and piss on my neighbors lawn.

I would imagine when someone says "make offer", they expect a reasonable offer.

Truth. $500 in this case doesn't classify as a lowball, it's more of a "I'm a shithead being a shithead simply for the purpose of proving what a shithead I can be" offer.

If they say "best offer" in the ad, I can see "lowballing" them. If I have something for sale, and it doesn't have "best offer" in the ad and someone lowballs me just to see if I will do it, I won't sell it to them out of spite. I hate when people do that. I put what I believe to be a fair price on what I'm selling. I don't think I'm a "cheap" person, so if it costs me $10 to sell it to someone else that isn't "cheap", it doesn't bother me. I get more satisfaction knowing someone else is pissed at themselves for losing out on a good deal because they were too cheap to pay my asking price.
