Took Solo to the vet this morning for a check up and they said he has a heart mur mur, he was just there 4 months ago and everything was fine. He has all the energy he had when I got him last year and infact his actions are all the same, I have not seen any change what so ever since last year. Anyone else have a dog with this issue? They told me to look out for caughing, sweeling of belly, and loss of energy. I just don't understand how the hell this happens within 4 months and with absolutley no change in behavior

Yeah I know many people have the problem and it never effects them but it just seems like my bad luck once again. In the short time I have had him we have gotten very close and I take very good care of him and pride myself that I took him off the streets and he is very healthy and active. Fact is I love the damn dog and can't see coming home everyday and him not there, I'm sure I'm over reacting and he will live long with no issues but this sucks and shit like this seems to be the norm for my luck.Originally posted by mnstang View Posta heart murmur isn't the end of the world. my mom has had a heart murmur since she was a kid and now she's 57 years old and she's fine and not your typical fat american either.Buying muscle/sports cars/regular cars/trucks, send me info, I pay cash or credit card if that makes you feel better!

Wow, you seem to really be down about your lot in life. Dude, life sucks. Enjoy it when you can with who you can. Yeah I was kinda thinking of that, kinda weird how he was just fine 4 months ago when he was there last. And the fact I have noticed absolutley no change.Originally posted by LS1Z28 View PostTwo years ago the Vet told me my dog had a heart mur mur. Two months ago, different Vet said they didn't find one. Try another Vet.Buying muscle/sports cars/regular cars/trucks, send me info, I pay cash or credit card if that makes you feel better!

I would go for the second opinion. If they find it, you know for sure and can do what's best for his health and keep him happy and active.
If they don't find it, plot against the first vet and never go back
