    windows in a race trailer??

good or bad idea tell me what you think

i picked up one a month or so ago and im trying to make it livable so i can stay in it at the track.
so far i removed the nasty plywood and installed smooth white borad along with installing insolation in the walls and roof.i also put in 110v lights and plug ins and 2 roof vents the the roof top AC units going on today and next week im going to put a checker floor in along with cabinets.

so it should be really nice, i just cant decide if i really want windows or not. not alot of them, like 1 small one in the side door and one on the other side in the front.

good idea or bad idea for a car hauler?

I would just look and see if they sell some type of screen door before I would go through all the work of windows.

No windows, no stickers. You don't want people looking in or to draw attention to yourself when traveling with a race trailer. Opens you up to get robed or your shit stolen.

You might with all your "look at me" threads

never thoght of a screen door, good idea.

btw what are they going to steal? its empty when not in use, and the side door has both a rv style door latch and a big cargo latch over the door

Cars go in Race Trailer, People go in Race Trailer puller.

It is a damn poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word.

Sure, as long as it's not big enough to affect the structural integrity... Mirror tint it so no one can see in Just make sure and plan it so that it wouldn't end up some where where you would want a future cabinet or something.
My buddies dad that i used to go race with all the time had a 48' 5th wheel and the front 20 some ft was living quarters and had windows in it. Worked awesome

I always wanted to make some sort of large screen for the back door that was retractable or what not.

A window, or windows would be nice. Tinted dark as fuck though. Or atleast an option to cover them if you want.
I would want windows, and it sounds like you do.

oh and windows would look weird as low as you would have to mount them to see out of. Not saying, just saying.

Have the windows up high if you do so it's not easy to look in and also harder to break into. A skylight might be cool if you can keep the rain out. Edit: more for the light than looking out of.

In my experience I have no fucking idea.

Just about any screen company can make these. they will attach on three sides and have velcro or a zipper in the middle and at the base like a tent. I have seen these many times.
