Yeah because we all know pop up headlights make your 0-60 at least 10 seconds slower. Not only that, but who in the hell races at night that fast where the pop up headlights would actually be a factor in wind reistance. As far as it slowing it way the fuck down, you either drive an 6 second car where that would actually make a difference, or you are talking out of your ass. You pick.

Fact is those headlights look lame. The new Vette looks like a cross between a Viper and a Ferrari. Talk about unoriginality.

I think the new C6 looks mean as hell. I actually like it better than the C5. It looks much better in person, as well as much smaller. The LS2 is going to be a screamer with only a cam and a couple boltons. It is really undercammed.

if you want I can get some direct quotes from people about the kind of resistance it puts out. I know plenty of people who do 90-100mph down 35 at nighttime when it's empty. It causes significant drag and loss of gas mileage. If they're such a trademark item don't you think chevy got rid of them for a reason?

Look at the headlights on the CTS, new STS, Mazda RX8, Mazda 6, Ford Focus SVT....they all have projector headlamps like that too. I guess I don't see any resemblance ot a Ferrari or a Viper in the Corvette though....they all look totally different in my eyes.
