    Ran into Spudkillz cousin...

    Sorry matt but I swear you two are related!

    Anyways, drive my car to the gas station and this big oaf comes out. I swear he looks like ogre from revenge of the nerds but worse. Anyways I could go on and on about his Infinitely lazy eye but back to the story...

    Oaf-Damn man what you got in that thing?
    Me-Oh it's just a V8 nothing big.
    Oaf-What you got done to the rearend?
    Me-Auburn posi with superior forged axles

    Oaf-Damn that's cool. If I could make a suggestion, I would get a rear stabilizer for your rearend. I thought you were my buddy at first cause your car looks identical to his. I shit you not he has a 92 Ford GT Cobra! He even has the certificate that says like only 3600 of em were made, but he doesnt have the same cool hood that you do.
    Me-Really? I have never heard of a GT Cobra before (im loling inside) so tell me what does the rear stabilizer do?
    Oaf-Oh man that GT Cobra was so fast that he would pull the wheels off the ground or damn near close to it, He put a stabilizer bar back there and it took care of it.

    There was some more banter about if I had bored my engine, if it had a cam in it etc etc...

    It's been so long that I do not know how to handle these blokes... Suggestions???

          It all depends...

          If there cocky and think they are knowledgeable about cars, have fun with em.

          If you run into a OAF, I usually let em ramble and then just go on my merry way.

                I dont think his targeting computer would work if it came down to that, but yeah I just let him go on and on and ignore the customers waiting for him

                  I avoid talking to people like that at all costs. Some load followed me to the gym last week when I had the fobra out and wanted to talk cars, I told him it was a stock 5.0 with mufflers and he was on his way. You tell them it runs low 11s and they tell me about there old 8 sec cutlass.

                    I was thinking that I should come up with bigger and grander stories... Just be like yeah he runs 5's in the quartermile on nitromethane, its all on a stock block though, he is switching to dart block next year...

                    OMFG I totally forgot about the Ford Boss 302 turbo his other friend had!

                              People love to tell me their stories though... I think it brightens their day. If it brightens their day I believe good karma will follow, However I will try it out sometime
