Looking for a car for my dad...

So I trying to track down a '55 or '56 Chev Bel Air for my dad...needs to be turnkey and under $20k.

I've looked in Autotrader online and eBay and have found some nice cars. Wanted to know if anyone knows of other spots to look at or if anyone knows of any cars locally that would fit the above description. Thanks y'all.

i have a buddy that has a 56 red just refinished every thing inter and fresh paint! ill check to see if its still on the market. 17,000 obo is what he was asking

A '55 or '56 for under 20K is not going to be mint. There are many out there for that price that have a nice paint job and thats it.

You're looking at more like 30K+ for something that is restored to original with everything being near correct.

I have one but it isnt quite up to those standards. Ill ask around if anybody knows of any. Hardtop or Sedan?
