So that's what it's called...I saw one of these "poop rafts" at First Ave last time I was there and it was one of the most god-awful things I've ever seen in my life.
My question to you purveyors of the poop raft, do you have to complete the task in, like, 10 seconds and get out asap? I would think that completing such an honorable task would be similar to jumping on your own grenade. Please. You think public restrooms are bad in America? You have no idea. Last month I spent some time I rural China. Here is what all the bathrooms are like there:
Every day or so that "night soil" bucket is dumped out in the field for fertilizer. As you can see, the handle to carry it is... less than delightful. It was not a pleasant experience to have vomiting and diarrhea here after I got food poisoning.
You can also see there is no shower or bath, as that is taken care of at the public bathhouse. Have you ever had a hundred pairs of Chinese eyes staring at you naked in the shower? I have.
