Dear Government, eventually the people with money will tell you to fuck off, and stop paying for those that don't work

Wow, Toyota is going to burn for this one, I doubt the government will even help them now for fear of being dragged into this mess. Bye bye Toyota

If I remember right, all the Toyota nutswingers (95IQMark) were saying the difference between Toyota and Ford was that Toyota owned up to their mistakes. LOL!

pretty sad that this is a huge deal in the media but you never hear about most of the shit the american companies pull lmao. the american companies say every year their cars are equal with the japanese and as time always tells, that is just not the case. in ten years when a 2010 camry and malibu are compared, it will agian prove true. imo toyota should keep production in japan and just import them in.

I always think it's funny that just a few reports of accelerators stuck to floor mats caused a recall....On 240-280Zs (highest selling sports car in the world) this is a COMMON problem yet nobody demanded a recall.

Here's a thread from 2004, long before the issue came to light with Toyota

I think the last big thing that we heard about US makers was the Ford/Firestone deal with tread seperation. I still can't believe Ford won that deal even though they were encouraging owners to run BELOW the reccomended tire pressure that Firestone listed the tires for .

You're right, 10 years tells a lot of things about cars...

its also funny that every american car tv commercial talks down about the japanese models, that says a lot.

Picture is funny, but really the ranger is the biggest pile of shit to ever hit the streets. I owned a loaded 02 4x4 and it was garbage in just about every single way.

I don't think the things have changed in 15 years, no wonder why nobody wants to buy em
