I live a couple of miles away from these folks.
I know most of the people in the area with sled dogs, but I don't know anyone that just had a baby, so I don't believe I know these folks.
Pretty sad.
A Husky would be one of the last breeds I would trust alone with a newborn baby in the household.Originally posted by NickThe choice is easy.

Pugs have to attack them when they're even younger. As a matter of fact, the name Pug is derived from an ancient Sumerian dialect meaning “fetal abortion dog”.Originally posted by Silver Bullit View PostPugs never kill babies

I wouldn't trust or leave ANY dog alone with a small child let alone a newborn baby. Parents are to blame not the dog.Originally posted by Stormwalker View PostA Husky would be one of the last breeds I would trust alone with a newborn baby in the household. It is a damn poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word.

The baby was in a car seat, placed on a bed.
The incident happened shortly after noon yesterday.
I'm guessing mom just got home from grocery shopping or whatever, brought her baby in and ran back out to get the bags of groceries.
Things like this can happen that quick.Originally posted by NickThe choice is easy.

Should have brought the groceries in first. Nothing could have distracted my dog from a new bag of groceries to investigate.Originally posted by Stormwalker View PostThe baby was in a car seat, placed on a bed.
