I have said a million times, I do not really care about new Toyotas good sirs and ma'ams. the older stuff is where it is at. 90s and before imo.

that said, I am sure glad they have the safty of the consumer in mind and not just pushing cars at any cost.

new gm's are still garbage btw. even year old ones have more then a few issues.

There is something to be said about having physical connection between my foot and the throttle blade. Screw drive by wire. If a cable brakes, you can't go. If the servo motor on the DBW craps out it sticks in the last working position.

What gets me is the stupidity of some of these Toyota owners, except Mark. I mean hey the car is accelerating and you cant stop it?? TURN THE FUCKER OFF OR PUT IT IN NEUTRAL AND TURN IT OFF, THIS ISNT ROCKET SCIENCE! It isnt like your RAV 4 will go from 60-100 in 2 seconds!
It is a damn poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word.

What if it's a hybrid with push button start, and it's stuck in overclocked/overvolted mode?

I can see this being an excuse for Toyota owners that rear end someone. "My gas pedal was stuck and I couldn't stop."

Doesn't the pushbutton start require you to have the key fob in your possession(Within the proximity of the vehicle)? If that's the case throw it out the window and the car should die(in theory).

Nope. Once it's started I don't think it matters.

What does Toyota and Brett Farve have in common?

Both think they can run wide open forever.
