The only vehicle my mother has driven for the last 20 years has been 80s/90s Chevy Conversion vans.

I don't know flat rate either but the SBC comes right out the front. You have to pull the grill, radiator, etc. Old motorhomes come out the drivers door.

just get an acetylence torch and a couple of sawzalls. no problem shouldnt take ya more than an hour
