    Newest craigslist BS

So now every time I post something I get emails like this

"Hey man is it still forsale"

    and

"Could you get me a quick insurance quote on www.whatever.com"

I think these are both just junk, is everyone getting this crap?

I stick to pay sites like eharmony & match.com

    it filters out the spam.

I guess when I email people it goes like this.
"Hey if you still have BLANK for sale I would like to come look at it. Could you send me a phone number to contact you and what time would work best."

Yep, they usually ask "is it still for sale?", then you reply and they spam the shit outta ya.

        Btw, someone buy my product.

I don't reply to shit when it's "Is this still for sale?" since I think quite a bit of those are spam bots out harvesting e-mails.

Fuckin' neverous ninnies I tell ya'

Now I gotta change how I write shit cuz ZOMG it must be spamz!

I generally write "Is this (listed item here) still for sale"? If so do you have a contact # you can be reached at and when's a good day/time to look at it?

Sometimes I'll just ask if it's still for sale though and that might be it, because it's been up for a while. Maybe this is why I'm not getting a reply back from 2 mails out about an item I'm looking to get.

The fact that I need to change the e-mail address that I use strictly for craigslist every 6 months due to spam says that I'm not a ninny.

Quit posting in the personals maybe.

I have YET to have to change an email because of spam, and I've posted tons of shit on cl.

                    Must be bad luck.

Do you buy a lot of stuff as well? I use the same e-mail for buying/selling. The only time I have posted in the personals was when I trolled for freaks about 4 years back, and that e-mail address is looong gone.

Yep, buy and sell. Do more buying than selling though it seems. I'll get the stupid spam mails related to my posting, but they're not hitting my mailbox constantly, and it's usually one BS reply per item at the most.

I recently listed a couple different items in the same area, and right away I got 2 spam mails about 'em, both the same exact thing . I didn't reply and that was it. Instead, I added their email into my f/s ad and wrote that if you wanna spam someone, spam this jackass and added the email it came from.

Yeah I get a lot of the "Hey I had better luck selling my item on _.com" spams, but I know they aren't typically fishing e-mails.

Part of me wonders how many sales I have lost due to not replying to the "U STILL GOT IT?" mails.

Yeah I get those stupid ass ones too. No I will not go to your link, idiot.

Normally, if I ask if the item is still available, but get no reply back in a day or two, I'll throw a follow up back at 'em just incase my mail hit their spam box or they might think I'm spam. This clown I'm tryin' to get to reply though is pissin' me off. 2 unanswered emails, but yet the item is re-listed 3 days later. Cocksucker.

In my f/s listings I'll usually ad that if you're seeing this ad, then it is still for sale, and the ad will be removed when sold. So that way, if I get the "is it still for sale" I can kick it to the trash. Even if it's legit, if you can't fucking read I don't wanna deal with you.

When responding to a for sale ad I usually will find a way to reference some part of the metro so that they would know it's not spam.

                              Something like..

"hey I'm interested in your ITEM but I see that you are in ELK RIVER. Do you ever make it near MINNEAPOLIS? I am prepared to offer you 100 AMERICAN US DOLLARS for your ITEM"
