    Outside storage

I was thinking about storing my car on my car trailer next to the garage this winter, put the cover on it, and a large tarp with bungee cords, or something like that, is this a bad idea? If the deck of the trailer got damp under the car, would this be a bad thing? Open to suggestions, thanks

it would get alot of moisture up in there, and a tarp does not breathe AT ALL so that moisture will be under it all year.
if you have a quality cover that is designed for outdoor storage, i would just use that. i have a really nice outdoor cover for my truck and it blocks most all water, but also breathes very well.

I can't say I've seen the interior of your car... but also be aware the extreme cold is going to put a hurt on anything plastic inside your car.

Personally I'd go for something like this before a car cover if you're set on it being outside though (and you have the room):
Portable shelters, replacement covers, custom portable garages & temporary carports online. Heavy duty pop up garage, tent garages.

I have a fence line along my whole back yard, about 6 feet tall. I also have dirt parking with another 4 foot fence on the other side. One season I took a tarp and laid it across the 2 fences. It worked well, I kept a car under the tarp, yet the tarp wasnt laying over the vehicle trapping everything in. If you framed up something similar so the snow would just slide right off the tarp it would help keeping the elements off the car, having the car on the trailer under a cover would be nice because it would be raised from the moisture on the ground.

Find a round style canopy like this-

You can get them in a variety of sizes. 8x16 http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w...0439_200360439

Find someone who has the Northern Tool coupons from the state fair and save $75 or $100.

Any other style that has angled flat surfaces for a roof will collect snow and collapse.

When we got to my place, I already had a candle burning. It was by "Glade", which I think you pronounce like the singer Sade, because it is an exotic candle that smells just like real pine.

                              • tent/awning>cover... Rubber truck bed mats on floor of trailer, take towel roll a window down an inch shove towel loosely in gap so interior won't get musty but hard enough so it wont fall out(foam from fabric store works great too).
                              • If you really want to go all out... pull rims and brake pads, coat rotors or drums with aerokroil (make sure to clean with brake cleaner next spring before install). Put pads on shelf inside house. Bag the each rotor/drum and zip tie
                              • Install brass dump valve at the lowest point of fuel line and crack the gas cap and top fuel line at the carb/fuel rail.
                              • Pull carb, empty/remove bowls let air dry... dip with marine 3 part in the spring.
                              • Pull regular oil, put in 15-40 run for 20 mins.
