Usually it means that you stood up too fast and got dizzy or passed out.

There are many different things that can contribute to it. My understanding is there are some medications that may help with some of the contributing causes. Other things that can be done are trying to avoid the triggers and knowing the warning signs so you can act on them before it reaches that point.

I have had this off and on for years. Just last night I had a bit of an episode...I don't recall much about it, but those there said I looked like a cross between a stroke victim and epileptic as I went down. Got one of those bambalance rides, too. Did a bunch of tests at the hostpital. I see another doctor about it tomorrow, but I my case it looks like the stars lined up just right for it to come together last night.
