High school kids can play the doors music to a T with someone that can play the organ proficiently.

Completely not the point. The Doors pioneered a sound, as did Floyd and the Moody Blues and Hendrix and others. It isn't about technical skill or perfect singing, they were the first with a certain sound that was copied and appreciated for years to come.

While it is all personal preference, as it is art, I feel that Floyd and Zepelin had a more vast body of work, although I don't think Zep changed that much over time.

Kashmir and When the Levee Breaks are the best rock and roll songs of all time, IMO. Floyd is not far behind, although I am partial to the Animals LP, which is probably Floyds least appreciated LP.

Animals is defiantly an under rated album, as was The Final Cut. But you could sense the end of Waters' career in Floyd because of the blatant political undertones of the album. Fuck! the two things Pink Floyd could've lived without:
