I have my Vette for sale for $22,000 right now and just recieved an offer of $19,000. I thought $22,000 would be bottom dollar but it is getting late in the season and dont really want to look at the car anymore. I just put a new D1SC Procharger on it so lowering the price from $22,000 isnt realistic, is it?

I responded to the offer saying for $21,000 I would deliver the car to his house in IL, or $20,500 and he can come get it. Would you consider that fair? I am looking for real input so please be serious.

I believe the car is paid for, so you don't have to figure in how much you will shell out in payments over the winter.

As for the price, sometimes it is hard to price a car at your rock bottom price because Somalians like to low ball you anyway. If you leave some wiggle room in the price they can go back to the homeland thinking they scored a good deal.

If he's serious he'll give you more than $19K. Chances are $20,500 is his goal if he offered $19,000. Tell him you'd reluctantly take $20,500 and see what he says.
The problem with getting a premium price for modded cars, although they're worth the asking price, the bank could give a rats ass if it had a 24k gold plated motor, bottom line is they won't give more than probably $15K for a '98 Vette and the buyer is left to make up the difference.

Maybe I've gotten lucky... who knows, but I've passed on offers like that, put the vehicle (both my bikes) back to stock, and gotten the original asking price, plus sold the extra stuff on the side
