    Looking for auto tech job

    A friend of mine is trying to find a technician job. He is ASE master certified and has about 10 years or so in the field. Anybody know of anyplace that is hiring? He is not to picky on the location as long as it is within the general 7 county area.
    Thanks!

    Not hiring right now, but wouldn't hurt to have his contact info handy when/if we are. Can you PM me his info?

      most guys went to one of the 5 yella houses;

      Automax, midas, CarX, Precision tune or Tires Plus.

      They are the only ones that are still staying alive.

      Roseville started doing overnight service... 2 guys on in the day and 3 at closing...their shop doors were open until about 11pm the other night working on customer vehicles..

      Its been said; "go where there is work."

        Which is amazing. I never cared for any of those places. I'm sure the late hours help quite a bit.

          Tell your husband to post his own "I need a job" post on TCS.

          I disagree.

                  No, this one isn't for Jon. He is happy at Northwest packaging and he needs to stay there if we have any hope of getting a house next summer.

                  However, I am in need of a job as well.

                            A buddy of mine was a ASE master tech at southview chev, left mn and now is back. His options are tire bitch and oil monkey for 8 bucks an hour. I feel so bad for him, because its really sad.
