Anyone use Hornday Critical Defence?

Kahr PM9 is small enough to pocket carry, and is a full power 9mm. I actually have nothing against .380's I think they are fine guns. I kinda want an LCP because it's even smaller than my PM9 and as concealable as my PM9 is... the LCP/P3AT is even smaller.

i still have the discontinued black cased 230 grain .45 ACP TAP i got from akromix. I like.

i like it quite a bit, i have a grip extender that fits in between the magazine and handle if i want to use the full size 15 round mags, which basically makes the pistol fullsize with shorter barrel if i want more firepower. Although my 10mm model is quite a bit beefier then 9mm .40, like that of .45 ACP glock. Although it should be, it outperforms them all 10 fold with handloads around equal the ballistics of .44 magnum.

The 10mm is a ballistic equivalent of the .357 magnum, NOT the .44. 10mm push around 500-700 ft lbs, about what the .357 magnum makes out of a 6" tube. NORMAL .44 mag loads push around 1000 ft lbs in a 6" revolver.
The 10mm is a great round and some of the PD loads are between the .357 and the .41.

You are correct, commercial 10mm loads are between .357 and .41, with the exception of the weak FBI load that is equivalent to the the .40 S&W.

Ruger LCP you can carry all the time, without a holster. I've yet to see a 9mm that you can realistically throw in a pocket/carry without thinking about it.

I'm a big fan of Hornady, from hand loading rifle, to revolver, to semi auto pistol, there stuff is nice and not as costly as some of the other stuff.

I've got some Speer Gold dot personal protection for the .380. It's nice stuff. Seems to shoot well in the LCP.

BTW whats your personal preference XD vs. Glock or both

you can't go wrong with either one. They are both bullet proof designs. I personally think the XD is more technically advanced with the grip and trigger safety's. It fits in my hand well, and I like the way it shoots. I've shot both the XD45 4" and the XDM 9mm with changable back straps for different grip size/feel. Can't say I have any experience with the Glock.

crap man. 1600??? Think you may blow that barrel up? Thats has to be really pushing the PSI limits, not that you seem to care about saftey. Thats crazy in a sub-com, I cant fathom the recoil on that.
