    Interstate dragways

    Anyone ever gone there? Thinking about going.

    Yup, ran the 96 out there several years back.
    Easy to find, decent track prep.
    I'd rate it between Rock Falls and Cedar Falls for bite.

      I raced there a bit. They are pretty laid back and usually you get a lot of runs in.

        Not as laid back (as far as Tech) these days from what I understand. New owner/manager started following the NHRA tech specs where the old management team overlooked quite a bit.

        Haven't made it out there (and don't really plan on it) this year but hopefully next year I'll give it a shot again.

        XJHead will probably have some input - he's been out there this year (and there is a video of him dancing all over the track a couple weeks ago with slicks on the car so who knows just how good prep is these days).

          I have been thinking about a road trip for me and the wife and try a different track for a change of pace.
