I'm in the same boat bighley. If you can take care of the insurance bullshit (I do have full glass coverage), I need the windshield in my truck replaced.
They want you to just call and have them "send someone out". I don't trust the people they "just send out". I'm paranoid like that... they completely destroyed the trim on my old blazer when my dad still had it.

that happens alot, we do alot of work for a lage glass company from that kind of stuff.
just call your ins company and tell them you need it replaced. tell them you want us to do it, then setup a time.
were setup thru 95% of the insurance companys for glass service, and if for some reason were not with yours or joes ill take care of it before you get in
