With all the stupid driver threads i figured i'd share my experiences this afternoon. I live on 106th and 35W. I'm kitty corner from the 35W south ramp which is closed, 2 big barricades, a large road closed sign AND a trooper sitting on the ramp. I'm sitting in the house when i hear what sounds like someone yelling over a loud speaker. I look outside and guess what? Some idiot is trying to go around the barricades and sign. Earlier today while coming back from Cub i'm approaching a minvan sitting at a red light on Lyndale south and 98th. I suddenly see reverse lights and four way flashers pop on and the moron in mini van starts to back up Lyndale heading right for me. :idiot: I darted to the right and as i passed i showed them my appreciation for this stellar showing of driving skills.

I rented a house off 106 and Queen not that long ago, might I say the intersection going south getting off on 106th is the worst. Stop sign is way too far forward compared to visible traffic.

A lot of people just don't have any consideration for others anymore. While leaving the bait and tackle store yesterday I ran into an older couple. We were waiting for them to finish loading their car and close their door so we could pull out. The lady yelled 'what's the hold up'. My gf told them we were waiting for them. The lady says 'until christmas?'So I said in the same tone 'no, we were just being polite. Do you understand what that means? Her husband told her to stop bothering us as we pulled out. Then they started yelling at each other

I'm at a light in the right lane, lady in a car in the left lane, no one else around us. Next light is about 400 feet in front of us. Light changes green, we both accelerate. Instead of accelerating just a bit slower than me, lady barely goes faster than me then cuts me off to get into the right turn lane at the second light. It totally pisses me off when people do that.

They said on the news that it was caused by a car pulling an illegal U-turn.

Just before 11 a.m. on I-94 in Albertville a vehicle making an illegal U-turn over the center median caused a gasoline tanker to roll over.

Traffic was diverted in the opposite direction on both sides of I-94 and vehicles were instructed to exit the freeway at the first available exit.

I-94 remains shut down in both directions through Albertville while hazmat crews clean up the gasoline spill. According to the State Patrol the tanker was transporting 8700 gallons of gasoline.

State Patrol reports only minor injuries were sustained in the accident and that a portion of I-94 through Albertville on either side of CR-19 is shut down until further notice. Motorists should use HWY 10 as an alternate route.
