I am looking for a new painter. Jobs will include sanding, prep, color matching, spraying, rubbing and polishing. Must have experience. Most work will be on boats. We pay flat rate of $21.25 per labor hour. Estimates are far more liberal than the auto industry so there are alot of hours on the table

what does it run for a 19' bass boat? it's going to need sanding and all that jazz. it's not super rough but it's not the best. top side is the worst, bottom is pretty good yet.

8 years ago when i still lived at my parents i would have jumped on this but i am far too rusty for a busy shop.

to paint the sides and the rear (not the bottom) would be 22 hours of labor (if that gives a painter an idea of what we have to work with)

Retail price about $2500.00 (need to see boat for an accurate estimate)
