    Bill's Gun Courses

Has anoyne taken any gun courses from Bill's gun shop?

I took their fast track to carry course a few weeks ago and was pretty impressed. I wanted to take their personal/home defense course and their Ar15 course. Has anyone taken either for these courses from those guys?

No, but their carry course is extremely overpriced in my opinion.

It's only $150 for the carry course. The $300 course is also handgun basics. I took it because I had no formal handgun training. I thought it was full of good information.

Me and the woman paid $35 each for our CC class, the same guy does a basic NRA pistol class for $9, he also does home defense and some combat pistol training, I think he pretty much charges the cost of donuts pizza and worksheets lol

Wow, does that include range time and the use of guns/ammo for the training? That's pretty good, unless that was like 30 years ago.

              I disagree.

I'm going to check this place out I think. Mainly because they have locations in close proximity to my house. I don't really want to drive all the way to Bills.

i like bills. they are a little overpriced though.

the gun show and trials they had at robbinsdale a couple weeks ago kicked ass. i shot my first ar15 and an automatic ak-47. bad ass!

The guy is a member of a gun club, that’s where you get to run around for the combat training and such, not sure how much those cost and not sure what the range fee is when you go to his gun club, we took ours at Bills because it was cold, with him and got a reduced fee of $7 per person, so total with range fee was $84 for the both of us, you get a deal for 2 people, I think normal price is $50 but he gives a $10 discount for NRA members. The guy was ok, I wouldn't say he was a phenomenal instructor but he got the job done as was at least as smart as most of the guys I've talked to at Bills

My carry course was $62.50. Also learned a lot of stuff that Bill's doesn't tell you.

Our instructor started many sentences with, "Bill's won't tell you this......".

I know he can say that all he wants and it doesn't make it true. I took some of that stuff with a grain of salt when he said it. But after talking with a few friends who have actually taken the Bill's course, turns out it was mostly true. They learned a lot of stuff through other venues that Bill's didn't tell them. And most of those things I learned at my class. 2lehners and Jb3bergs will back me up on this if need be.

I took the $150 Bill's carry class about 4 years ago. I don't remember the instructors name but I thought he was very thorough.
