Seriously, WTF is this dude's issue?

I'm sitting at home today and I'm watching C-SPAN right now. Press Secretary Robert Gibbs has been doing his best to speak for the past 15 minutes and the only times he doesn't answer with, "Uh... Um... Uh... I think... Um... er...," is when he just states, "I don't know... I'll have to have someone get me that answer and I'll get back with you."

Don't get me wrong, telling someone you'll get back with them with an answer is a good thing when you don't know. However, muddling through answer after answer with endless streams of uhs and ums separated by small corporate line bullshit is fucking rediculous.

It's much like when Lois was running for office on Family Guy answering any questions she didn't know with "9/11" and "Terrorism."

I think the President would be doing a ton better if he didn't have idiots like Robert Gibbs and Joe Biden speaking on camera. Obama is a much better speaker, which is why it surprises me he has such a bumbling moron as a press secretary.

gotta give credit where it's due, even w/o a teleprompter obama can speak better than gibbs or biden... biden is a gaffe machine, gibbs is just downright incompetent for the job.

I'm not disputing him using the corporate messages, I'm discussing his inability to form logical and understandable sentences between those messages. His isn't good at thinking on his feet. He's one of the worst public speakers I've ever seen represent ANY politician or celebrity regarless of partisan affliliation.

I honestly feel Obama would be better off having Jeremiah Wright as his press secretary, even with his hate the white-man rhetoric.

I think probably the most important thing in a press secretary is to not say something even remotely construed as stupid, as it seems these days everybody is on hyper alert.

They probably stutter a lot because they are trying to think if what they are gonna say is going to be taken out of context or the wrong way. When McLellen wasn't repeating the same corporate line over and over again, he was stammering too.

Others weren't as bad.
