NEED ITUNE HELP

I absofuckinglutely HATE this worthless, shitbox of a program. Why I decided to make the process of using an MP3 player a total fucking hassle I will never know.

So, I installed itunes, uploaded some of my buddies itune files into my computer and then synched my Ipod. Once. That's it. Occassionally, I will open itunes on my laptop when working and jam out.

That's what I am trying to do right now.


Out of nowhere I get this message when opening itunes that says "iTunes has detected an problem with your audo/video confguration. Audio/Video playback may not operate properly."

I haven't changed a thing since yesterday and it worked just fine.

Now, I get nothing. The program opens aftger 5 minutes of waiting like it always has. Now, it won't play anything. I still have quicktime installed.....


WHAT THE FUCK DO I HAVE TO DO??????

The thing I hate about iTunes is just that. One day it works, the next it doesn't. Another fine reason you won't see me sporting an iDildo anything.

Google Fu suggests uninstalling Quicktime (JUST Quicktime) and reinstalling QT

Thankfully doing a hard reboot on the laptop fixed it

I've found that you shouldn't update itunes. I know this sounds stupid but I have the 2nd gen version (bought Dec 03') have never have any issues with it until I start keeping up with apple on their seemingly daily updates, most of which have to do with video anyways.

My thought, find the fix for current problem (probably as simple as unplugging and plugging back in, restarting comp, or resetting ipod) and then don't update it EVER!!

Works for me, I've been update free for over a year!!
