Mille Lacs Ice House Rental

I asked for a recommendation once on Chinese Food, and y'all delivered. Now I'm asking for a recomendation on Ice Fishing on Mille Lacs.... Anyone have experience with Macs Twin Bay or AppelDoors Sunset Bay? Hunters? You guys steer me straight since i trust there's an expert on the subject.

Out of the ones you listed I would probably say hunters point. I know last winter some of the outfits out of the northwest end were doing as good as anyone. And one from agate bay was doing well too.

I haven't really talked to many up there this year. My uncle has a resort out of isle but he sold his ice fishing rental biz. Things have been tough because of how much snow is up there limiting where you can go without a snomobile.

We took Steve's house out on the lake this last weekend as well as a friend's Ice Castle. Other than Steve getting my truck and the ice house stuck in a drift on the lake it was a damn good time.

Lol, I have never been stranded in a fish house 3 miles out on a lake, not to mention I put the truck into a drift about 5 feet high when it was a complete white out

How thick was the ice? I think we had almost 2 feet on Cormorant in DL.

Only been out twice. Lots of #'s of panfish but not much size. Old man has been getting some nice perch and a few eyes on Mille lacs.

how was cormorant? I went out there once a few years ago and we caught 4 little walleyes in a day between 2 of us, nobody else seemed to catch squat. I haven't been back
