thinking of buying another ride a 4 eye

I have the chance to buy a 1986 t top gt, really nice condition, only 98000 orig miles, it was a texas car its whole life except a year or to here never in snow, been sitting in a garage for 6 or 7 yrs with no engine or tranny, I allready have a unfinished car so more work
I owned a 1983 gt t top car when I was 18 and one of my favorite cars ever I would like to own another and these are a bitch to find especially nice ones.
So my question is what do you guys think a 8 out of a 10 roller is worth

            troof.

i've done motor swaps and i'm helping a friend build a car from just a bare shell, and the above advice is the best you can listen to at this stage.

I've done that been there, I bought my notch done as a good start to make better now with a new motor a glide and two turbos a fast seq. and way to much to list it just SITS. It is very close as I just have to finish putting it together but this car I would just put a stock 302 with a 5 speed maybe a shot of nos as everything is there other than motor and tranny

Four eyed t-top are hard to find, but I still wouldn't pay more then $1500 tops for a roller. That price would only be for a great condition car

I am thinking maybe 2K being that a nice 4 eye is hard to come by. But that would be a really nice inside and a flawless outside

                          I disagree.

My guess was 1000 for a fast sale 1500 fair 2000 all the money, but everything is down now

yeah, i would only buy a roller if it was mint condition outside and pretty good inside too. and it still isn't worth much then... especially with the economy today, nobody is looking to be buying project shit, at least not mustang people.

so if it's mint, i'd say 1500. but like others said, i'd rather finish your current project. that won't be any easier to do once you have another stang to fuck with.
