I am buying a PS3 today, what are some good games for it?

I like the call of duty series, but since I already have COD: 4 I don't know if I want to buy that one.

The new SOCOM is a lot of fun. The new Prince of Persia came out this week. Assassin's Creed was great, I can't wait for the next one.

Need for speed Carbon - Very fun
Virtua Fighter 5 - Fun, havent played much yet
Unreal Tournament III - Awesome
Need for speed pro street - havent played much
Madden 07 - havent even opened it
Brothers in Arms - Hells something - havent opened it
Sonic - stupid
Tony Hawk Project 8 - Cool, but same old Tony Hawk

Was gonna get Rabow Six vegas for $20 on black friday but I dont play what I have now enough.

I buy older games, I refuse to spend $60 on a video game anymore. I use PS3 for watching Blu Ray, probably have like 40 Blu Rays, thats where its at

I picked up Call of Duty: World at War.

I am probably going to pick up some assorted Blu-Ray movies soon as well.

ACR, is Ureal Tourney pretty close to the same as the older computer games as far as fun factor goes? I used to play the original a couple years ago and it was a lot of fun.

Yea, UR is sweet. It has capture the flag, Deathmathc, etc etc)

I played it before and this verion is just as fun. Well worth $20 IMO

BTW, The HULK and Transformers are 2 must have BRs even if they are for demo purposes.... Both awesome!

I was watching Transformers at BB when I was there the other day. Looks awesome on a 120 hz LCD.

NHL 08 or 09. I've only played the demo of 09, but its still pretty fun and its on my christmas list.

GT 5 Prologue. Yeah, its not the whole game and you cant really modify cars, but I still like it. Gotta have a wheel though. If you have a Logitech wheel for pc, there is a good chance that it'll work with gt5.

I have played NHL '09 a few times. My brother owns it. I haven't played GT 5 yet.
