I've bought all my previous vehicles from private parties, and haven't had any problem getting the title in within a week or two, if not on site. I just bought my Monte Carlo from Hastings Dodge in September, and I have still, yet to see a title for the car. Should I have received it by now? I know i should give them a call. But I haven't really had a chance yet.

Probably has a dealer conditional on it, they may be waiting for the title from the previous owner.
or they are lazy and have not done anything yet lol.

I wouldn't worry about it yet. Seeing how you bought it at a dealer, they may wait some time before handling title work so they can do multiples at one time.

Titles are taking 4-8 weeks unless you expedite it for $20 then 3-4 days, this is the same for private and dealer sales. I'd assume like Mark said it's on a conditional which takes a bit longer sometimes. I'd shoot them a call, takes less time than posting on tcs btw.

haha yeah I know a call is quicker, but I can't make any calls from work, i've got to leave it open for incoming calls since we're shorthanded today. But I can still post The only reason I'm wondering is because my credit Union sent me a letter stating they weren't including as being the Lien holder... So hopefully I can figure it out later.
