So... You can walk into a gun store with a concealed handgun, legally but would need a permit to purchase another one, Brilliant!

Although those permits are free to obtain, they do cost taxpayer money to process.

I still don't (and probably never will) the Liberal mindset. How does passing more gun laws keep guns out of the hands of criminals? I bet Dems sure *feel* better, though.

How does snooping everyone in the US's internet traffic stop terrorism when the terrorists use encrypted transmissions?

The problem is you're painting it as a "conservative vs. liberals", when in reality, they're all making power grabs. They just leverage different talking points to do so.

It is different.

Proposed gun laws add more cost to owning and operating each firearm. This adds burden to the owners of those guns. One of the bills proposes that all guns need to be locked up in a safe in your home. Lot of good that will do when someone breaks into the house..."Hold on, I need to go get my gun out of the safe". Another bill proposes that each bullet has an ID tag inside it that registers that bullet to the owner. Criminal will steal someone else's bullets while law abiding citizens have to pay for those fancy little tags in each round. More burden and cost added to the user.


The internet snooping you are referring to happens without people even knowing it is going on. It does not add burden to the user and will not effect the web habits of a law abiding person.
