So how many outstanding shares does that get split into? Whats the $ per share amount? Economic retards forget things like.... hmmm lets see large company = large profits, bingo, that’s it! If company A with 100 shares of outstanding stock and 100 employees turns a profit of $100 is that any different than company B with 1000 shares of outstanding stock, 1000 employees and turns a profit of $1000, using the simple headline number it would appear company B is making 10 times the profit of company A so they must be big and evil right...... errrrr... wait no they are just bigger, everything gets scaled up, capital costs, employee costs, dividend payouts ect…. I don’t get how people don’t understand that…
I’ll save you the time, Exxon Mobile has 5.2 billion, that’s billion with a B outstanding shares of stock, do the math, granted its nice to turn a profit in this economy but that’s by no means some astronomical number that proves they are just making a killing, lets see where they are next ¼ after crude has dropped 60% in a matter of months, will you post up those numbers? Retard haterz
