What the hell is this, online poll results from visitors to cnn.com and drudgereport.com?

I remember seeing the post debate poll conducted by CNN having a much narrower margin.
When I pull up Drudgereport's poll I see
        MCCAIN 68% 287,862
        OBAMA 30% 127,627
        NEITHER 3% 10,919
        Total Votes: 426,408

No. no. Gallup is to be taken without question, always!

These daily polls and immediate debate polls are ridiculous. First, one can learn a ton from analyzing the story behind the story. More than the candidate who "won" is the story of the network who lost (and their constituency too) . Look at total votes by medium. Regardless of percentage breakdowns, the liberal of the media is about 25% of the votes/participation as does the conservative media. Who's watching what?

They are just trying to get more of the mindless sheep to follow and vote for the Commies bastards by skewing the polls, an old trick!

I really think in the end, MCain is gonna gonna kick his tail no matter what these fake polls state, they have been wrong more than right!

Regardless of the poll results, I watched the debate. I was disappointed in McCain's performance. How many times can a guy repeat "pork barrel spending" and "take care of our veterans"? He made himself seem very shallow and limited in new ideas. Not that Obama did any better, he at least came across as being better on his feet. McCain wouldn't even look @ Obama and debate with him, he just stared at the moderator.

i sow it the same way McCain kept talking about the past about how he did this he did that it wasnt just him it was him in a group who did those things.

also who cares what he did in the past this is now and what we need to do right now to make this place better.

I definitely care about what people have done in the past. That is why I find it hard to jump on McCain's bandwagon even though I dislike just about everything that comes out of Obama's campaign.

Do you have any better polls to suggest? More importantly, can you fix that paragraph so it's intelligible? Shame on you for hammering out a paragraph while clearly occupied with something else.

I hate to say it but if anyone is still behind McCain after he deflected 60% of the questions to war stories and plain old GOP propaganda is complete dismissing the fact that when he is put on the spot he can't come up with an answer without his advisers or his cabinet spinning staff.

Opinions and on the spot rational thinking counts. When a presidential candidate can stand up at a debate and give meaty improvised answers with truth and non-canned responses that candidate should be given kudos for their effort and strength.

Instilling fear in voters about your competing canidate simply because they are unknown in the general public spotlight is low and "dastardly." Also it can backfire when the debates start, and that is happening.

In short, one candidate has already done irreprehensible damage to their campaign and the other is just getting started.

One came out running hard and strong from the start and the other believes in a slow build using facts and forgetting tradition.

Obama simply called McCain's bluff. We'll see who ends up with the royal flush in the end.
