I'd strongly suggest boycotting 4paws. They're refusing to take this product off the market because they "haven't had enough reported instances" yet.

Sorry, if a toy can cause my dog to lose its tongue, it shouldn't be on the market period.

When the tongue was stuck inside the ball, it lost all circulation because the suction was so tight. They amputated the tongue because the flesh had died from being without blood for so long. The tongue wasn't cut off until a later date.

Think of it like putting a tourniquet around our knee, or really bad frostbite. If you leave it that way for long enough, your lower leg will die, and there's no recourse but to cut it off.
