I have been going to BIR for the NHRA nationals for the last 5 years now and the rules are going to drive a lot of people away. Thursday there where 5 checkpoints from my campsite to the strip. 3 of them where within 50yds. I mean do you really need a checkpoint on both sides of a bridge?
This party wagon thing is really pissing me off. They do not allow you to park with all the other 4 wheelers etc. if you have a party wagon. I understand if you have a big wide trailer you pull but I take a Toyota Tercel converted into a party wagon that is actually smaller than those big Rangers and Razr's but I can't park there. I haul 6 guys with it and I asked the guy "So you rather us bring 6 ATV's up here and park those creating 5 times more space and that's o.k.?" He told me that would be fine. I was holding a sign saying Mustache rides 25 cents, a guy going by stopped and spun his wheeler tires by me and a sheriff took my sign away and said I encouraged him to do that. WHAT? I said how does this sign encourage a guy that allready got one wheeler taken away I might add do that. He told me If I want to argue I will go to jail. I battled this stuff all weekend. The biggest thing is the no coolers in the alcohol section. You can bring in what you can carry and make as many trips back to your cooler but they wont allow them in. There reason is they are afraid of a bomb in a cooler. Do a size requirement like NASCAR's 12x12 inch coolers but come on a bomb. Also this making everyone go back to there sites at 10pm is full of crap, these security temps with there authority issues is crap, this whole big brother thing is crap. I usually go up with a group of 20 -25 people (that's $4000 - $5000 in tickets alone) and part of my group and a lot of people I have been talking to are reconsidering even coming up anymore. P.S. 1000ft sucks balls.

had some good times there lol. but people were cruising by and around the whole time so they seemed pretty leanant that night. i had some good times there. raced a few times beat them all 
and watched people fall flat on there face and the rigshaw run right over them lol.
