New Place on Uni? for fridays and saturdays

Has Anyone given thought to the 24 hour parking lot in front of Rainbow Foods on the corner of snelling and uni? If anyone has a better idea I am sure we would all love to hear it.......

yeah...

I know what your talking about. that Midway Mall, where years past the whole lot was funn of Imports! mad imports! so much crap went on, the cops didnt like that so kicked them out. Then they went farther East down on uni, to the old huge SEARS lot huge! and got that lot full, then last year cops took care of that too for them. now they park on the sides of uni, bye that huge McDonalds and that Ford dealership. Nope still no realy place to chill. I can't believe a place called "Goodwill" is being such asses! Hope no one gives them anything! They got the best spot on Uni, next to Porkies, so why are they being such dicks about it! Thats what I wanna know!

i just thought i would throw out that there is a lot that me and my crew used to hang out at last year and the year before. we were never once bothered by the police. it is pretty close to the lot. actually right off of transfer st, and uni.

I know of a good place. If your standing in the Mobile lot, look to the left(west). There's a lot on the corner at the light on the north side of Uni. It's about 100 yards west of McDonalds on the same side. I'll be there from now on.

I think you may be on to a good idea though. move further away from the mess but still hang on University. Then if you want to take a trip down through "Sharkville" over to Porky's its still not a long drive and you can still follow the racers out 280....

I'm down with Tim. He has talked this plase up for a while. I say lets go there. What do we have to lose? Its better than what we got now. We better go somewhere, the weather cant keep raining all the time. Eventually we will all wand to go to uni sometime again, and soon. Where is this place at specifically,Tim, so all know where to go?

Don, If you were heading towards 280 from Porkies you would turn right on Transfer street and then take your immediate right into the lot. It is a gov't building that has a two big parking lots. It is pretty high above the street so it is hard for anyone from the road to see any activity up there. Why I am stressing that this might be a good hangout area. There is also a nice size lot in the back that would allow for stangs to park. also it is a great area to get group photos.

so like 7:30 - 8ish on friday night at the lot down the street from mcd's....(I wont get there till like 8:45, damn boss is making me close on friday. If anyone needs a truck come on down to mapelwood U-Haul.... I will give discounts on trucks to TCS members.
