WTF That car was stolen a few years back and ended up in NJ for sale, now it's back here.

I don't know if the car ever left the state. I think that the NJ connection was just a broker?

Was it really stolen or just reported stolen?

I remember it being stolen. How do you fence a car like that?

I am also looking at it and can't fathom how someone could spend over $225,000 building it.

Janelle from Autotrac built it and I'd imagine it cost over $100k to build but not much more. They will never get what they are asking, if it's still the way it was it's worth maybe $50k I'd say.

Supposedly, the owner came home from vacation and 'forgot' that the car was at the detail shop. Shortly thereafter, his small plane drilled into the earth......

Oh thats right I heard that version, he does a scam and then gets caught and kills himself in his plane.

Why would someone build that car just to sell it... what could the reason be

Wasn't it the Mayor of St Anthony or Columbia Heights that pulled the scam and death by plane shorty after the heat was on?

I do know, just not a big enough dick to say it in public, but next time I see you remind me to tell you about a story regarding that, its pretty funny!
