So get this I sold my Hd Sportster in 2000 for $6500. So the guy never transfers the title and 30 days ago runs from the cops (After ditching the bike) and gets put in jail and lost the title. So now i get a call from the tow company and they say we found your bike in the ditch you owe us $300 for a tow. And then you can have your bike. So i go down to the licenes place and order another title and get proof of ownership. I now get to go down to the tow company and get my bike back WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i had a similar situation many years ago. Got the car back. but it was NO WHERE in as good as condition. Then the guy calls me and says "can I have my cd's back?"

you're going to have to fight the shit out this title deal if the bike was paid off. did it go past the 45 days? if it did.. take that shit and drive it by his house.

(get some certified letters to be sure, if the guy comes back swinging his dick it's going to be a pain in the ass that you didn't mail in the corner and he didnt transfer the title. I've seen some greasy shit come back at cedar from selling cars early.)

I sold it to him in 2000 and i dont even think it was who i sold it to that ran. The impound has had it for 30 days already and i just orderd a duplacate from the state and have proof of ownership in front of me right now
